Built from real experience—not theory.
I’ve spent my career on the inside of organizations, learning how careers actually progress—and what it really takes to move forward.

FOUNDER & CAREER STRATEGIST, PROWORKZ CAREER SERVICES
Strong careers aren’t built by accident. They’re shaped through visibility, positioning, and intentional growth.
I didn't start my career as a coach. I started on the other side of the table.
For nearly 20 years, I've worked in Human Resources across the private sector and federal government, with experience spanning employee relations, staffing, policy, workforce development, and program leadership. That breadth has given me a firsthand view of how organizations evaluate talent, make decisions, and create opportunities for growth.
My work has also expanded beyond traditional HR—leading organization-wide assessments, analyzing workforce data, developing programs and strategies, and translating complex information into recommendations for senior leaders. Combined with my academic background in economics and human resources, those experiences shaped the analytical thinking, communication, and structured problem-solving I now bring to my work with clients.
Along the way, I learned how organizations truly operate
How hiring decisions are made, how promotions are justified, how visibility shapes opportunity, and how leaders think about performance, risk, structure, and long-term talent strategy.
I've seen firsthand that doing good work isn't always enough to create career growth. Opportunities are also influenced by the scope of your experience, the skills you've demonstrated, the credibility you've built, and whether decision-makers can see your readiness for greater responsibility.
That's especially important for professionals who aren't naturally self-promotional. Career growth doesn't require becoming the loudest person in the room—but it does require finding ways to build credibility, demonstrate value, and make your contributions visible.
That perspective shapes how I coach today: practical, structured, and grounded in how career decisions actually happen inside organizations.
